Ice Paradise

Most people think that snow is soft and powdery and won’t hurt at all. But they are going to have a rude awakening when it really happens. Have you ever hit your head in the snow? Or more like slammed your head into it? Well I got my rude awakening last winter when I went to the mountains for a little snow boarding on our selfmade half pipe. We got all the measurements down to perfection when it came to the half pipe. We were proud of our new accomplishment even though it’s nothing more than big funny shaped pile of snow to others; to us it’s a masterpiece. We geared up with all protection. We may be extremists but we are not stupid to do with out protection. So we got ready and started ripping the half pipe. Pumping from end to end to get as much amplitude as much as we can to perform some gnarly tricks. My friends where doing some switch back 540’s and some old school late grabs. I am not very good with the late grabs; my specialty is churning out some high speed spins. I can easily come up with 540 and 900’s but the 1080 has always eluded me but today seemed like my lucky day. Did some 900’s and started pumping some amplitude for the 1080, I launched of nicely and spun well I finished my 1080 very well but realized I was too close to the ramp but too late and ended with a face plant and it hurt a lot my nose bleeding all over the place. You can get some insurance for yourself at Net Quote before you try out something risky. So for all those who have not been awakened yet be careful.
