The rush

People call us boxers and martial artists as people with no brains or IQ. But hardly do they know how much calculation and judgment is required in this sport than in reading a book .you need to anticipate your opponent’s movements and strike before he does with a perfect counter based on movements and positioning from an array of actions all this must be decided in a split second. This is where true champions emerge. May ask a really obvious question does it hurt when you get hit in the face? Yes of course it does. But its like a lesson we learn from pain, we do a mistake we get hit in the face so that we don’t repeat it again. Very elementary and brutish as many say but effective my all means. Staring your opponent in the eye and coming up with a plan to beat him at the same time staying alert to what he is doing and also listening to coach among all the screaming in the stadium, adrenalin pumping causing your body to react very fast without even thinking. Now that’s a rush. That’s the experience and thrill that we fighters live for which other cannot even begin to comprehend.
