Touch of Blue Gold

Swimming has always been one of my favorite hobbies. I used to swim for hours in the swimming pools non stop, there is something about the water that calms me down and excites me at the same time, I just can’t get out once I get in. I always wanted to swim in the open ocean and get the feel of how it is to swim on waters that are so deep. I had decide to catch up with Australian Open tennis a little while later. For now, Even though swimming will not become a reality until I am much older I can at least enjoy the ocean waters at the beach. So I took my shorts and went off to the beach. There is always a huge crowd during the weekends but who cared. I just wanted to get in the water and swim my heart out and have as much fun as I could. I ran and dived in the water only to get scraped a little my beach sand. Got up and looked around to see if anyone saw my embarrassing move, then I went in deeper and took another plunge went a lot smoother. The water was very salty and kept getting in my eyes and burned a bit but all that didn’t matter I wanted to go as deep as I could and kept moving forward, the waves kept lashing against me. I was closing in on a little part of my goal when I heard a loud whistle and a coast guard next to me on a water ski yelling at me to get back to shore and that I am too far inside the waters. With a sigh I returned back my dreams still unfulfilled, but I will never give up.
