Many people think baby sitting kids is easy money and "anyone" can do it. But its not you need tons of patience and hard work; the first thing I had learned about baby sitting was to never give the toddlers chocolate or sugar. That is literally a death sentence. They will raise hell by screaming at the top of their lungs, running around throwing anything their tiny hands can get a hold of. And the greatest challenge of them all is putting them to bed. Well if you gave them sugar and you endure through the raising hell part they will automatically fall asleep so there is something good out of it. But its not an advisable choice as I had learned. Its all about trust between you and the kids if they see you as someone they admire then its all easy if not that’s when the trouble starts. The shouting, running around naked, asking for candy, not eating food, not sleeping was what I had to deal through the first few times till they got used to me and it was all good after that. The best advice I can give to you when dealing with kids is be a kid yourself. Its much easier on both of you and more enjoyable.

Ice paradise
Many people tend to think that if you fall in snow, it does not hurt since its nothing more than power type material so it should not hurt, but I will gladly like them to do a face plant and find out for themselves. There is something about the snow that pulls skaters from around the globe to try out their mettle on it. What started as a simple pastime on a wooden plank is now a major x-games sport with some serious competition. I had my shot at glory too, bought some decent gear and got myself to the local practice grounds where they use fake snow for practice. There were instructors there but I wanted to do things my own way. Strapped my gear on and was off in under 2 seconds. I am too stubborn to give up that easily so was at it again but made it longer this time. Kept doing it till I could stay at least 20 seconds without falling off. Then once I had that dialed in I tried to show off a bit and "attempted" a 180 which is the simplest possible trick but I caught a bit of snow and fell face first on the snow and it hurt a lot.

Climbing the Hills
I live near a huge hill range at the outskirts of town very silent and serene just the way I like it. I always wanted to climb one of the hills but I never had the courage or the permission to go from parents. I started playing with the local kids after a while which was never allowed by my parents before. They took me to so many new places like a small water fall at the bottom of the hills and many locations I really liked. Then I asked them if they have been to the top they stopped what they were doing and stared at me for a second and laughed and said of course they have been. They agreed to take me to the top. We set out from an old stone quarry at the bottom of the hill. Was easy till it got pretty steep but was still fun I pretty much ran up since I had lot of stamina as I was an athlete but some places gave me the scare when I lost my foot or slipped for a second and looked back. But I was determined to look up and just kept doing straight. I finally reached the top and it was very windy there but it felt nice as I loved the view. It was worth all the scratches and bruises I got on the way.

Rage on wheels
People call us immature and unruly and some call us criminals. Why do they call us that? Cause we love speed. Bike racing on the streets was something I did since the first day I got my bike and started racing it even before I got it registered. Street racing though many consider illegal is not so illegal where I live since our streets don’t have speed limits. Most races where I live start out either by prior negotiation on phone or in real or when on the road and you get challenged. Weaving through traffic at max speed and feeling the effect as if they stopped in time was something I lived for but the rush you feel when someone is chasing you is much more. We start out at a decided checkpoint and the finishing line is marked by friends or just some location like a traffic signal or something. Revving the engine trying to beat each other at the same time watching the traffic and people cross the road especially the old people who come to a complete stand still when they see you right in the middle of the road. Breath stops when that happens but then again that’s all part of the thrill. You get the happiness and sort of bragging rights I guess when you win but most don’t care about that its just the adrenaline rush we do it for.

Doom ballz
Recently I and a group of friends from school got together after a long time, so we decided to go on a road trip to the next town and different locations. We went to some awesome multiplexes and watched some movies then on our way out we saw a paint ball stadium which was brand new. We were all hardcore counterstrike players so we couldn't pass up on this opportunity. We checked out wallets, signed up and had to wait 5 hours till it was our turn, we made 2 teams amongst ourselves. We were given special gear and padding to protect vital part which were wonder as to why need all this padding its just paint balls but we soon had learned why . The buzzer rang and we were made to stand on opposite ends of the field facing each other with places to cover from fire. We all jumped to our spots except a few slow pokes that got plastered with pain balls. Peeking out of corners and sneaking out a few shots was the basic strategy. after a while it was only me against 2 others, I took a risk and popped out and shot one guy as I was running to the next safe spot but was smacked under my arm near the hip by the other . That was when I knew why we had padding because it hurt really badly.

Dancing on water
Surfing is merely sliding over the serene yet deadly waters of the sea with nothing more than a plank of wood separating us. Waiting there for the perfect wave with the sun kissing the water as a backdrop is just heavenly and when the wave comes adrenalin starts rushing ,your heart starts pounding you frantically paddle to gain some speed to catch the wave and when you do all you got to do is stand and watch the beautiful water take you. That is if u know what to do or have surfed before else you will be in the water faster than you can say “woohoo” when u tried to stand on the board, but if you do manage to pull it off that’s where the real rush is, the crystal blue beautiful water making a tunnel around you, those few seconds is what surfing is all about. Then again you spend too much time staring at the tunnel it will fall right on top of you, so kick in the boosters and go up the wave and finish the surf with a inverted 360 spin. Now that’s fun.
