A perfect mantel for the perfect Kitchen

Last week I was staying at my friend's place and boy was I admiring the indoor lightings and the style in which the items were placed in their home. Their kitchen in particular was very well maintained with no stains and no burns on the walls for that matter. I was in a short chat with her about what makes an ideal kitchen and she gave a good explanation about how it should be.

It is a mistake to suppose that any room, however small and unpleasantly situated, is "good enough" for a kitchen. This is the room where housekeepers pass a great portion of their time, and it should be one of the brightest and most convenient rooms in the house; for upon the results of no other department depend so greatly the health and comfort of the family as upon those involved in this 'household workshop'. On questioning what is the most important thing that needs more maintenance than all other things of the kitchen the reply was mantels because that helps to provide the guests, the food with the ideal taste. She also added that Agee Woodworks was her first and best preference when it comes to purchasing items that will enhance her home and Mantels for her Kitchen.
